Saving a Word Document

Select Save from the dropdown menu under File.

The Save As dialog box opens the first time you save your new document. Enter your document name in the Fle name textbox, then click on Save.

If you want to save a Backup copy (the version as it appeared the last time you svaed it),each time you save changes to it. Click the Tools command on the menubar then select Options.



When the Option dialog box opens Click on Always Create Backup Copy. Then click on OK. Now when you save the document a Backup copy of the file (with the extension .wbk) is also saved.
