Formatting Text

Text that is typed into a cell is automatically formatted in the Arial font with a text size of 10 points. Several font styles are available to choose from: Arial, Times New Roman, Modern, Courier, MS San serif. The higher the point size, the bigger the txt is going to be. There is approximately 72 points in an inch. Font attributes can also be applied, such as bold, italic and underline. The different Font attributes can be accessed by fist selecting the cell or call range you want to format. Then Select the Format menu and select Cells.

The Format Cells dialog box opens up. If the Font tab is not already selected click on it to display the various font attributes. Make your selections and click on OK.
